THE MEYVN GROUP IS PROUD TO SPONSOR:

Greater Des Moines Leadership Institute – New! Dialogue 515 Book Group.

There is no formula or algorithm that leads us to become our best selves or the ideal leader. It is a lifelong journey of learning and experiencing. Join other Institute member alumni for a discussion that will help you continue to expand your understanding of leadership.

Each Dialogue 515 discussion will be led and hosted by a notable Institute alumnus. The first session will be led by Steve Lacy (CLP ’85), CEO at Meredith Corporation, and we will discuss the book How Full is Your Bucket? by Tom Rath and Donald Clifton of Gallup.

This first Dialogue 515 Book Group will be held April 12 from 7:30 – 9a at Meredith Corporation, 1716 Locust Street, Des Moines, IA 50309.

Beaverdale Books has extended our alumni a 10% discount. Call (515) 279-5400 for more information and mention The Leadership Institute’s book group.

Book group participation is free to 2017 member alumni at the Connected and Inspired Leader levels. Light breakfast pastries, coffee, and drinks will be provided by Meredith.

About the Book

The #1 New York Times and #1 BusinessWeek bestseller, How Full Is Your Bucket? reveals how even the briefest interactions affect your relationships, productivity, health, and longevity. Organized around a simple metaphor of a dipper and a bucket, and grounded in 50 years of research, this book will show you how to greatly increase the positive moments in your work and your life.

The second Dialogue 515 Book Group will be October 19 from 7:30 – 9a at Oakridge Neighborhood Services, 1401 Center St, Des Moines, IA 50309. This book will be announced soon.
